Yes and yes. And if you're negative on your PTO, it'll get pulled from your last check.
^you can easily find the PTO policy. But… you don't start with 5 weeks, you accrue 5 weeks in a year. You're only allowed to roll over 40 hours each year based on the firms FYE.
I think legally they have to pay it out. Most states have laws guaranteeing this
Yes they pay out your pto. No they don't make you quit the same day if you go to a competitor.
Does anyone fear someone at their employer (Crowe for this post) will read this and figure out who they are?
Well, how many tax managers are there are Crowe? 100? How many are disgruntled? If I worked at Crowe in tax it would take me less than a day
In my office if you go to a competitor they kick you out practically immediately. Usually next day.
Texas def doesn't have that law. Yay business. 🙄. That said, most firms do pay out PTO.
What state are you in matters a lot
^ How would they do that?
Totally
New to Crowe: so if you start off with five weeks of pto and you don't use it all within the year, you can roll that over indefinitely? Or until when? Or you just can't at all?
Thank you ^^
