Does anyone know of anything I could apply for at other companies/positions with my skill set? I’m a Case Manager for TZ Insurance, aka Tranzact. I review new applications with clients. I don’t want to be a sales agent, though I have a Health/Life Insurance License in my state (& a few others). I’m sick of dealing with all the 65+ & disabled people who are always irate & impatient, inside the “Medicare” area of Health Insurance. They underpay me also. Thanks! Stay blessed everyone!

I currently work in Healthcare as a respiratory therapist for 10 years. I have been at my job, currently, for a little over 5 years. Alongside my bachelors degree I also have a masters degree in healthcare administration. Although, I am happy with my current position as a respiratory therapist, there seems to be not a lot career growth with where the department I currently work in within my healthcare system. I am wondering what doors/opportunities I have if I were to utilize my masters degree?

I've heard a couple of things about how the partner pension amount @ PwC is determined, both similar in approach.

Both calculations I have heard of result in an annuity paid until death, at which point a surviving spouse (if any) receives the annuity.

The first calculation I have heard is that you get 80% of your highest earning year as a partner (e.g. If your best year was $1M, you'd get $800k as an annuity).

The second calculation I have heard is that they look at your three highest earning years as a partner, and take the second highest and you get 100% of that. (e.g if your three highest earning years were $1M, $800k, and $1.2M, you'd receive $1M as an annuity).

Is ANY of this true, or just all rumor? Any PwC partners that can chime in and explain the pension plan fact for fact? Perhaps with sample numbers?

My long term goal is to have benefits be my main area of practice.
