Has anyone transitioned from the Account Executive position to a Creative role? I'm and AE with UX experience and feeling like Design is more my vibe, but would appreciate any insight into the requirements and the demands of creative roles.

Looking for some advice on a couple of offers I have.

The first offer is for an Account Executive position at a smaller company with a base of $50k and another $20k in OTE.

The second offer is for a BDR position at a larger and faster growing company with a base of $60k and another $20k in OTE. Also some stock options but they aren’t public yet.

I have 2 YOE as a BDR and think I could succeed in either position. Both have hybrid work set ups. Any thoughts or advice is appreciated! Thanks.

I currently work as a React/Node developer making 87k per year (I know that is pretty low, my manager will admit it) He has made it clear that I am the most skilled developer on the team, and I am getting promoted to Senior Dev. Do companies sometimes offer "gifts of appreciation" if you're not selected for a merit increase? My manager randomly called me to let me know I was chosen for the "gift" this year bc of my "hard work & dedication", except now I'm learning other colleagues are receiving actual merits.
I mean it's possible that I may receive a merit, but I feel like I won't considering my manager never brought it up & the dept update made it sound like those receiving it should know by now.

When I leave Big4 hoping to get a job at the Senior level, so do I need to wait to promote to Senior for that? Or can I start applying a little earlier with the anticipation of it happening? Ideally would like to have a job lined up and quit ASAP once I hit Senior.

I need some expert advice. I have 40k in 401k and 40k cash in savings account. I moved all 401k to a very low return safe portfolio in July and basically I haven't done anything with the cash as well.

Starting to feel like I am missing out on returns and now is the time to put everything back into the market. Does anyone know reliable financial advisors that will do it for me and also account for the independence related restrictions.

Please help! I’m a CRC who manages Investigator- led clinical research projects and I want to transition to a PM role in industry (I would slightly prefer not a PM role in clinical trials since I don’t have clinical trial experience.)
