Hey Fishes,
Require urgent suggestions
I will be joining Oracle Financial Services Software(OFSS) and I am worried about job security considering the layoffs that will be happening in Oracle as per below link:
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.crn.com/news/cloud/oracle-considered-1b-in-cuts-thousands-of-layoffs-report&ved=2ahUKEwjv0Lyb3-34AhX29zgGHZGqBBYQ0PADKAB6BAgEEAE&usg=AOvVaw0c9Bz3n-mb4BhVdPKvIXnE
Require suggestions on whether it would be a wise call to move to OFSS now.

I was wondering what the ranges were at Booz Allen, not other firms.
I think BA2 is pretty close but maybe a little high. I’ve heard SC as low as 60 and A as low as 85
75k - 180k hope this helps
These titles mean different levels depending on what firm you're talking about. Associate is entry level at some firms for example, but is level three at Booz.
Around DC and at Booz?
SC: ~70-110
A: ~100-175
110 seems high for SC, at least that’s what my senior associate said. BA 2 - where did you get those figures?
C1- ask your SA where you fall within the pay range for associates-ask what the bottom 25% is making, what the median is, etc. He/she should be able to provide those numbers. Based off that, you’ll have a better idea of where you fall.
A1- do you have any advanced degrees or over 10 years of experience? Just wondering if either of those played a part.
I’ve seen those numbers myself through offers and discussions
Then my SA is lier. I was making right under 100k and he said I had to promote to Associate to make more
Liar
I make 110 as an Associate with poly. I’m wondering if I’m being low balled here
Your education, years of experience, etc also play a factor.
Agree with OP. I should have caveated that the previous range includes a wide range of experience and education
SC1 is spot on. Senior Consultants in the DC area can earn as low as $60K, and Associates can earn upwards of $120k
BA-3- did you mean to say that associates can make up to 175k? Just clarifying since that was what SC1 said.
I've been told Associate band is 90k-130k. I make 123k.
OP - I wanted to switch teams and the SA I spoke with said that I’d have to join his team before I got that figure. And with reached to My current SA, he’s not very open to sharing. What should I do
