Are there anyone here that can help with finding a job in health admin or admin position not having any luck on indeed!? I’m a New York native, I just moved to Las Vegas and I worked for the state for 12 years in New York and I came here to take care of my mom and as a contract worker for state of Nevada education. I was fired for discrimination reasons and now I’m out of a job I have a bachelors degree and applied to 123 jobs on indeed to be denied because I’m over qualified. HELP ANYONE

Am I the only person who has been super disgusted to Fishbowl’s response to the Meta layoffs? I’ve been laid off twice in my career but I’m not mad at 11000 people who no longer have jobs just cause they got decent severance while I got a week on my way out. Facebook is hot garbage but I’m pretty sure 0 out of the 11000 were making those decisions. So why are you upset about it? Urgh. Y’all are weird.

I heard that if we are on the bench for more than 2 months and if the resources management team share our profile with HR, then HR asks to share the screen and put in the registration? Is that true?

How is the Job security in atos? My friend joined in April, 3month have passed but he is still on bench. He was hired for SharePoint tech stack, but now his manager is saying "They have very less projects for sharepoint, so please prepare for Azure". I’ve been on the bench with J1 for about 3 months. I was worried that because I couldn’t find another project, I would get laid off so I found J2, which pays more, is very meeting heavy, but I really like. I’ve kept J1 because I’m still on the bench doing absolutely nothing and getting paid. Thinking about looking for a role on a project with J1 that’s not along my career path but will allow for me to do work with no calls so that I can manage both jobs. Does anyone have experience or advice?

I got offer from cognizant for skills appium(mobile testing), selenium. My yoe is 2.8 yrs. Designation is PA. DOJ is 29th dec. So are they projects in cognizant for testing or they will keep on bench. And projects are more of manual or automation testing

Joined LTI recently in P3 band. However not allocated any project. Got a call from the resource management team to relocate, which I rejected upfront as I was promised a role in the location I am posted. It has been over 2 weeks since I am in bench. What shall be the next steps, shall I wait for some days or start looking for other jobs as getting a project looks difficult as there are minimalist responses.

Working for a senior who is beyond horrible. She talks to you like you’re stupid and makes it sound like you’re absolutely terrible at what you’re doing. She’s made 5 other associates cry during her 5 year career. Got someone fired and made another person quit. It’s known around the office that she can no longer have a female associate, because she talks down to females more than she does males. I came along and thought I could deal with it but she literally makes me want to not log on tomorrow.
