Depends on service line. Certainly easier to come from a feeder school into the seasonal recruiting drive. Getting a one year MSA would put you back in that cycle and many do that.
Otherwise a referral might get your resume looked at. And it’s free to apply and no harm trying that route first.

No. I had no internship and no relevant experience - still got hired. 2/4 big 4 gave me offers. So just apply to all 4, all service lines to increase your chance.

No. Big4 is not that glamorous haha they take people from all different backgrounds, at all different stages of their career. Being a CPA would help.
This has been my experience. I’m trying to break into the accounting industry as a second career.
I’m not getting call backs for entry level or experienced hire positions.
Try to get some experience at a national or regional firm, than make the move to Big 4 once you have enough experience.
