I just got an offer from EY in London but considering based on what the maternity policy is which doesn’t seem to be spelt out in contract or benefits pdf. Does anyone know a) if there’s a minimum employment period to qualify and b) what the enhanced maternity pay is. I’ve read both 16 weeks and 18 weeks.

5k a year I think but it's limited to things that give you a grade at the end, which is silly. So many other learning opportunities from conferences to workshops etc. it's annoying.
We do at Starcom. Up to $6k but you have to commit to staying a year after you graduate I think. Something like that.
Leo Burnett pays 75% of every course, up to $7500 annually.
$5000 per year at Razorfish. Have to make a case to use it, though that is not too hard. But have to pay it back if you leave within a year of receiving it.
@SA1 Starcom Toronto isn't too bad - we've got some solid clients and a pretty good team upper management is often not in tune with the office but I think that's everywhere. Canada on the other hand I can highly endorse as a whole - it gets a bit cold in the winter winter but the people are awesome the country is beautiful, living inToronto is just like living in any other big city there is good and bad but overall when I look at the clusterfuck that's happening the world over the happier I am to live here.
@starcom1 That does sounds amazing. I'm also from Minnesota so I feel like it would be an easy transition. 😂 I love the snow ❄️. Do you guys have a research team there? What's the cost of living like, say for a 1br apartment, within a 30 min commute to the office?
@SA1 loving the snow is half the battle getting accustomed to the high taxes is another but we have pretty good social programs (a la free healthcare) so the taxes are worth it to me. We have a minuscule research team out of our office (3 people) but you should definitely also check out our sister companies if you are looking for a bigger team. Cost of living in Toronto sadly can be brutal especially where housing is concerned depending on what you're looking for. I rent a 1 bed pretty spacious apartment about a 20 minute walk from work for $1640. For the amount of space, the location and the amenities that's a steal but I also live north in what's considered midtown rather than in the city core where rent can err on the side of exorbitant for the better apartments...
@SA1 what office are you in - this is the first time I'm hearing of such a thing...
Are these the kinds of things that you only know if you ask about?
I got an offer at Spark and that was in my standard benefits package Starcom- you prob just didn't see it -- go back and look!
@Starcom1. No you should have been told when you were first hired. It was in my welcome packet. And is also available on SMGSource under the benefits section. You can also email your HR rep to have them point you to wherever they store the details.
I believe ours is up to $7500 annually. I have to double check tho, especially with the restructuring. I havent used it yet, planning on it tho
Checked my contact as well as with a few coworkers - no such thing offered by Starcom Toronto... unless it's a well kept secret
@starcomers yeah I heard about it in the welcome packet. I also emailed my hr person and they told me to check the source. You do need a B or better in the class. If you fail obviously you pay or if you leave the company before you've done your full year after graduation you also pay. How's working at Starcom Toronto? Canada 🇨🇦 is looking really appealing as of late. 😉
Wow, only $2k a year at Publicis...
Grey offers it but it's a joke how low it is. I want to say like, $1k/year? And, just like most cool perks at Grey, you can't get it until you e been there two years
