C2, our federal business is an outsourcing business model. Only commercial (which is only about 3% of our revenue) still does case interviews.

People - Process - Technology. Remember that and stuck with it. Hear the question and take pause, writing down notes. First ask questions I.e. how big is X company? Is it global? How long has it been a company? These answers will drive conversation and your thoughts. Understand the hypothetical clients goal and expectations. Then map out a plan, describe at high level what tools you may use and why, what technologies would be helpful (research the company for any new developments or initiatives they may have in digital space) if it’s relevant, and be prepared to do a deep dive in one area. They will start targeting one specific question in the case and see how you react. Just remain calm and collected. Take your time. End with showing how the company can provide their values (memorize from website) and meet the needs of client helping both be successful. Mic drop.

Can someone please explain the reason for the backlash with this answer?

How'd you get into Booz without doing a case interview?

Case in Point should be your bible

Just ask enough questions to figure out what they’ve already decided is the right answer and then present them with their own strategy.

That’s how the real world works 😉

Sorry not helpful but funny and true

For strategy firms case prep, get and read the book case interview secrets. Start there first and move on to live practise with an experienced partner. For other cases, this plan would still work but you might be able to reduce # of live practise and still succeed.

Where are you interviewing? Is it a strategy firm? If so ignore everything PwC1 said. Case in Point is good learning. Looking Over My Shoulder is good practice.

OP how much experience do you have? Usually case studies are like real life client problems so as long as you think logically and structure you’d be alright

Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). Anyone from Dropbox who can put me in touch with HR or suggest what I should do next?

I’m new on the job search and still employed. I’m looking to grow further in the logistics industry. While I look for work, it’s a bit discouraging seeing how hundreds of people apply for positions I see on LinkedIn. I still apply because you never know and AI plays a huge effect in selections. Should I even bother applying when there are more than 100 applications?

Hi
Applied for a position in Johnson and Johnson Canada. Reached the final round 3 weeks back. After not getting any updates I emailed the HR a couple of weeks back. They responded back telling me that they’ll have an update for me the next week. Again I emailed them on Thursday asking if they have anything for me before the long weekend ( Good Friday & Easter). No response whatsoever. Will emailing them again be inappropriate? I desperately need this job
