I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

I actually enjoy erp implementation. I know it’s not for everyone tho.
I moved from ERP (was supply chain focused) to tech strategy. Big4s and many boutique firms have a tech strategy practice. I think overall it’s been a better move for my career long term. Tech strategy deals with all vendors in more of a high level enterprise architecture approach. Also let’s you get very involved in sales which is always critical for growth. ERP I did some assessments but was rarely the person working on the proposal and with the client through the sales phase.
Exactly the path I want. I’m stuck as a Jack of all trades tech/functional erp consultant for a boutique. Been trying to get into what you saying for a year. Finally got some green light. Any other recs on how to learn it?
Also would your role be the same as Solution architect? Solution Consultant?
Or is solutioning only contained within the erp practice, and tech strategy is actually where client hires your firm and you’re actually solution agnostic before any erp is even considered?
I’m in the same boat. Doing SAP implementations for several years, but don’t find it interesting to want to continue doing long term
