K1’s world must be so scary.
My wife and I did a 2 week trip through India last year for Xmas. Never been before, and had an incredible time. Visited Mumbai, New Delhi, Agra, and Goa. Did all kinds of fun stuff like a day-long cooking class, several guided tours, and just lounged on the beach in goa (which is more beautiful than 90% of the beaches in the US). Would go back in a heartbeat if we didn’t have other places to check off.
Don’t let sheltered milquetoast people convince you the place is dangerous / shitty. It’s different, but fun. Also, your SPG points will make you a king there. Had a suite on he top floor of a Westin in Mumbai with a shared Butler for 6k points a night. Absurdly cheap
Chennai and south is terrific. ^ don't listen to all this trash.
Two very different destinations - if you are asking this question, answer is europe
If you prefer more of the same, reluctant to step out of your comfort zone then Europe. For a relaxed holiday, few places beat Europe.
If you want to broaden and challenge the idea of the world as you know it then India. If not anything else, hopefully you will realize that more money doesn't mean more happiness.
Compared to all the events coming out of the media recently, Chennai/Tamil Nadu is just as safe for a woman to travel to.
India if you want to ‘travel’ ...Europe if you want to ‘tourist’
Europe.
Europe. Especially if you’re a female. Never go to India alone
India, good weather in feb, not as likely to get sick outside monsoon. Europe depends on where you go...
Where in Europe vs where in India? India is vast, going to a resort in Goa/Kerala is very different then the slums of Mumbai.
Okay hearing good things about Europe. And it’d be North, so Amsterdam London etc. and India it’d be Chennai and further south
Northern Europe in January just sucks - it rains all the time and the sun goes down at 4:30 PM.
If you're talking about Italy or Greece then possibly it would be OK.
Check the weather guides for temperatures and the cloud coverage etc.
Europe's awesome in April or May.
