Even as I have already submitted my resignation a to PwC, I still think PwC has lots to offer to its employees (including my current exit opportunity). The benefits at PwC are pretty amazing - my exit opportunity makes up for it with $ for now.

What benefits specifically are you talking about?

Vacation days + unlimited sick days. Various automation tool certifications. Communities to ask questions and find templates/solutions. Consulting now pays for MBA. Expected promotion and raise schedules.

I have been supervising and managing our team of 6 for months with no extra pay or bonuses. I was told yesterday that raises will be light this year. Yet today they spare nothing.

Sometimes the leadership does not even inform you on the status of a submitted proposal unless we win the work. I get why they are doing it but it would be great if there was an external source/website that would share this info instead of us waiting around to hear from them.

Feeling a lot of pressure to buy an apt as my partner and I are in mid 30s and see ourselves living here (Brooklyn) long term. Can’t get over the high prices, high fees and idea of sinking all of my money from the market into one asset. Every apt for sale we are seeing is less nice and highly monthly cost than our rental unit which we love and running the numbers never looks good. Convince me why I’m wrong

Additional Posts in Accounting Exit Opportunities

I want to leave public as a senior, but can’t find anything I’m interested in. I’ve been applying;g for manager and assistant controller roles, which has been really difficult. But I don’t really want a senior accountant role. I was thinking FP and A is a good choice. I’m looking for something that has good career progression and a better WLB balance, pay isn’t so important to me. Has anyone else dealt with this? Advice would be greatly appreciated.
