Thoughts on EY FAAS (in Canada if that matters)? I was approached for a senior manager role. I left PwC a year ago for industry after 2 years as manager (FS audit) and miss the challenges and opportunities that Big 4 offer, but not the hours though.

I don’t know if I can do this anymore. Was an auditor for 3.5 years, then the travel got real old, but I didn’t want to leave so I went for a tax position in my group. Been in tax for 2 years and most days I question how anyone could find this interesting. I say the clients keep me in public because I’m a people person and like sales, but the clients are also a PITA. Been looking for an industry gig but noting seems to come up. How do I get my life and happiness back?

Nothing new here I guess, but still putting it out there... I am an educated, smart, successful woman. But these days I see myself as a mother of two who is barely surviving at life when she is used to “killing it” at work. Kids are not learning anything new, house is a mess, unlimited personal projects on hold, personal grooming is not even on the agenda and to make it all worse, have a personal goal of weight loss but am actively working against it.
