How many years does it take for consultant to senior consultant promotion in Deloitte USI?

Frustrated with the promotion logic. Not sure which maths was used. People whom I trained nd who joined in April/ May last year are promoted. And me being in firm since three years did not get promoted. Even though all the rating stats are exceptional, still didn't get promoted.
Waiting for hike letter, and i will be the first person to resign this organization.

In all the pro and anti student loan forgiveness conversations and arguments, I cannot believe that the higher education providers are getting a free pass. IMO, they are the root cause of the problem and deserve to be part of the discussion and long-term solution. Any solution that does not address the rising cost of education is simply a bandaid on a fracture. And any forgiveness done in a vacuum will only encourage these fat cats to raise tuition more.

Do firms expect people leaving soon after raise/promo discussions?

Advice re dealing w/ unfair criticism in review: Firm gives full text of reviews & a summary. My actual evals were very positive, but the “summary” had this unsubstantiated & horrifying line: “Take care your communications with work providers show appropriate DEFERENCE and collegiality.” I suspect it’s from a highly insecure female partner who constantly negs me. I’m a 2011 grad, a team player, & am unsettled by sexist undertones re “deference.” Thoughts on how to tactfully raise at review mtg?

I have 4 years experience in consulting. In two different fields but all years in government. I have an MPA as well. I am thinking about my future, and just hate the idea of starting over yet for a third time if I left my job. But I am trying to think of more meaningful and impactful roles where I can lead but still have a good salary. I finally made into a big 4. And am having trouble imagining a “better” opportunity? The big 4 has been sold to me for too long. Has anyone been Thru this?
