I've got a job offer from Deloitte Latvia ( Deloitte Central Europe) for the Riga City. The gross compensation is 3000€/monthly along with one time 2500€ as a relocation allowance with other benefits like 45€/month as Telephone reimbursement etc & other usual Deloitte benefits. Currently I've a ctc of 11 LPA at EY & 3.5 YOE. Is it worth accepting the offer after all calculations. #Deloitte #Europe #Latvia . Deloitte EY . Kindly provide some insights if u have any .

As an old guy, 6 months sounds generous to me, sorry.
Only getting a six month window to use your 16 week paid time off. There’s a conversation my parents never had
SC1 and SC1 - OP is not referring to how much parental leave you get, he/she is taking about before when you get to use that parental leave. Most companies let you use that parental leave any time till your child turns 1 year old.
That said, 10 days parental leave is too little.
The companies that I know of all give 1 year to use the parental leave. 6 months is certainly weird and not at all helpful if both the parents want to stagger their leave one after another.
We are a laggard with most things
1 year at Deloitte.
EY will have one year too as they tend to follow the suit. While they call us StillNotMBB, they are StillNotD lol
maybe you should join bah, that way you’d have a lot less leave to think about using. on the order of ten days, total, of paternal leave.
I can’t imagine needing 1 year... can you give us an example of how you would need it?
Yes, thanks for clarifying PWC 1
Security Consultant1 - are you a parent? If you are, you won't need an example.
I wasn’t being a smart ass, I really wasn’t following. Do most parents spread their leave out or tend to take it up front? Legitimately curious
