Hello, what is working in retail banking like at JPMorgan Chase ? Specially the branch manager role. I’m looking in the Columbus area. How is pay, culture, benefits, sales environment, meetings, etc. How easy is it to transition from retail banking to corporate. I hear the Polaris campus has great opportunities, I was thinking about getting my foot in the door through retail then transferring to corporate ?

5k a month after 12 years? Sign me up
I was with EY for about 4 years and was able to take a lump sum of 30k from the pension account and roll it into my 401k when I left a few years ago!
Serious question - former EY alum, where do you go to check the balance of the pension?
Could you pass along this answer? i am looking as well
The old pension (pre-2016) was really good, now , still good if you’re a lifer, but takes longer to build it up. I’ve only been with firm for three years post MBA and have a defined benefit of $500 a month (or various lump sum payment options). I actually think this is one of the more undersold benefits EY offers (they also do 401 matching)
😬
You have 2, a defined benefit pension ( a true pension which was stopped at the end of 2016) and the cash balance pension ( the worthless type) sounds like the 5k is your cash balance total, that’s what mine is as well. Use the retirement calculator in the benefits page you will be looking good with that many years
👀
Yes, EY does offer pensions. It’s a new system so maybe I am not reading it right.
😆
Chnagr the date to read it right. It coukd mean 5k a month pension
