Full Utilization = total chargeable hours divided by total hours available in a year.
Effective Utilization = total chargeable hours divided by effective available hours (total available minus admin hours minus PTO/SL/PL hours)

Total effective available hours minus admin hours? It doesn't work like that. Admin hours are considered in effective hours too. Only non-chargeable hours are excluded like all type of leaves and public holidays.
Thank you for the responses..!! So in appraisal..which is given more weightage.. !! Full or effective one...?? Sorry a new joinee..hence the silly question

In India offices, only Full Utilisation is being considered for performance appraisal. All targets are set with full utilisation numbers.
