Feel like Worst part of audit is that nothing we do matters until it does (i.e. if shit hits the fan or get picked for inspection), so we can’t really slack off and have to work hard just in case.. but 99% of the time our work doesn’t matter... I spend so much time cleaning review notes from Managers, SM, partners that are just revising documentation. I know they are the ones that get in real trouble so I do what they want but still it sucks to work extra hours to make workpapers neat and pretty

I have been on bench since I joined the firm 3 months ago. Now I have got project but still on bench. I have got mail regarding not raising snapshots because I was on bench so i didn't do anything except trainings and some learning. I don't have hours to raise snapshot for.

What shall I do in this case? I am very much worried that if i don't have any project hours to show, will they fire me or what actions are supposed to be taken ? Thanks.

Is genetic carrier screening prior to starting an ivf cycle necessary? I tested and found some disorders. Now my RE won’t start my cycle until my partner is tested. They are saying they will have to do special PGT tests if we are carriers of the same disorder. I am confused.
