JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

Certainly not the case M2.. I know for a fact a few Ms and SMs were given options in Europe and CA. And the word was deputation not deportation you dumbass!!
Unless you have been a manager for at least 12months in another country and transfer back into US, I don't think there are too many avenues for EB1
Firms can help you out there.. may be switch to another Visa category such as L1 etc. can also be done or would be useful? Welcome thoughts/inputs!
Deloitte doesn't do it till you are SM or go on a foreign deputation for a year as a Manager. Even as SM there are a lot of other eligibility criteria.
Thanks M1.. Would you know if any other firm does it or if that's an acceptable practice as long as the firm is OK with it?
M1 that is wrong info. The eb1 is an international manager category meaning you should have atleast 12 months in an international branch like canada or Australia. Not that you are an SM. Some people who have exhausted their 6 years prior to getting the i140 are usually moved to 🇨🇦 or Australia 🇦🇺 for a year and then come back and get eb1 s
D1 - there is a separate process for SMs where firm actually gets proactive and tries to send you abroad on deputation to get EB1. Im not saying that just making SM will get you EB1. Hope that clarifies the point.
How does the deputation process across other countries work? Is that a firm initiated process or can you initiate that as well?
Never heard of it being done for SMs because they cannot meet sales targets across borders
@ OP: well, the deportation process works by sending yo ass back to the home country..
No. EB1 is manager outside of US for at least a year and they have to prove your significant contributions to the firm
