Good Morning. Here's my dilemma. I have an approved H1B application which got picked up in 2019-20 lot and approved in Jan 2020, before the world went into lockdown. The stamping process was initiated but it couldn't complete as the USCIS offices were shutdown die to the pandemic. I’m seeking hybrid or on-site positions at this time - any leads or reach outs are appreciated!

Cold applied for an awesome role, had an interview with hiring manager, recruiter, and given a pretty hefty assignment that I’m really proud of nailing. They followed up with an email asking for 4-5 days that I am available for a full day of interviews. Gave them 4-5 days, started planning for how I’d get those days off work during insane times at current job, and now not a single word from them to confirm a date. Been over a week now. Sad. Pretty jaded. What can I do? Already followed up

I’ve noticed that HR, when explaining why a candidate didn’t get the job, tend to lean on “You’re great, but we had candidates with more experience in [skill relevant to the job].” I do believe this is true in some cases, but it can’t possibly be for all of them.

HR folks — what feedback have you obscured by offering that line instead?
