At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project. I believe I'm on track to promotion in the next year. So, I could put in a year of full time school to check the box off, but I'd be sacrificing hobbies and social life (not to mention cost). Is this FOMO or is there real opportunity here?

If I accept the promotion to Partner/Principal what's the least number of years I could work without it being a financial mistake. I have an opportunity to do something completely unrelated that's my passion, but I feel like that's the wrong decision when I'm this close.

When your resource group is more than 5 or 6 students and they are all at different levels AND you only have them for 20 to 30 mins.....how do you make the most use of your time? How can you work towards their individual goals as well as fill in gaps in learning when there is 8 to10 students that are at different levels of learning and all require some level of assistance in order to complete even simple tasks? We have a big project going on and I am the only point person(initiate it, did lot of work, and knows the deets well), seems like my mgr wants to get a headcount.
