Immerse yourself in strategy and make sure you’re very comfortable talking about money. Try to engage your client in regular chats about their business, their pain points, where they see the growth opportunities. Delegate the project management stuff like timelines and the nitty-gritty of production — you’re there to guide and answer questions on that stuff, but you’re not there to do it yourself anymore. Set up regular 1:1s with your direct reports and make sure you understand their goals. If your direct reports have reports, encourage them to do the same.
Congratulations!! One of the most important things was touched on above. You're a guide now, so you aren't hands-on in the production details as much now. That's often one of the most significant adjustments, but it's a nice adjustment over time!
