Bajaj finance is extending an offer to me for Pune location of 16 LPA fixed. My current fixed is 11 LPA. Is this offer good enough ?
Tech stack: Machine learning, Python, R, PowerBI, Basic SQL.

Can someone suggest if fixed pay is fair or low or high according to current standards. If it's low, how high should I quote to HR Bajaj Finance

@A1 experienced hire here who got staffed right away. Reach out to the people who interviewed you and start building your network. Depending on what group you are in you might have very little bench time
I wouldn’t worry too much about it OP, don’t know about Deloitte but at OW that’s fairly normal. Experienced hires have a difficult time getting staffed on their first project (I did), the next project is often equally shitty with no one wanting to staff you. But after that it gets much better.
OP, the market is going gangbusters and almost nobody has no utilization right now. Work your network (or build one) and get into the market.
the one project I did here was less content more power point of vaporware , yes I have PRD hrs, but the PRD I got staffed by resource manager here were totally unrelated to my domain, they wanted PPT help and that least of my core skills and my output pissed of PRD SM. I stopped raising hand for PRDs. Now I am helping only folks who hired me and they are thin on pipeline. I am techie who likes to design architect solutions and lead the teams to develop. I can make mindmaps and PPT content (not D-shine them)
For all experiences new hires coming in from non consulting background - they should have a DU 3/4 day course on PPT and excels tricks which I see so many pure breed Ds using day in/out . also teach storyboarding case, using deloitte systems, until the snapshot email came around I was not even aware what that thing is.
What they had at DU was some BS and then facilitator going around room asking how you feel about it, why you feel like that - all sessions on same format.
Hey OP, I’m coming in on as an experienced hire consultant next month. Any advice? What’s going on?
OP- are you at least fully utilized for PRD and using this time to accrue learning hours? Are you getting support from your counselor and RC?
Leave while you can. You’re a smart, fresh college grad and people won’t expect much in terms of work experience. You can break into strategy and operations analyst roles. Have a better shot than some folks who have a few years of consulting (PMO, at least for big 4) under their belts
@Op what group are you in?
