Flying into LGA tomorrow afternoon after a few years break - is it still a complete cluster or can I get an Uber without walking miles or having to take a shuttle bus?

LGA is amazing now

Terminal B and C are immaculate now

I’ve only flown in very late at night the last few months so I can’t speak with 100% certainty but I don’t remember any remaining construction / obstructions

As noted Rideshare is right outside baggage

Getting to city is obviously still annoying at many times of day but your trip shouldn’t be impacted otherwise

helpful

Uber area is right next to baggage claim, no walk necessary really. Shouldn’t have an issue

you're still gonna have to trek to baggage claim. good 5 minute walk from gate to baggage claim (assuming NY walking pace)

I'm a light sleeper who cares too much about the people around me, but I've got a flight to London next Friday from 7pm NYC time to 7am UK time, and I'd really like to master sleeping on a plane just this once and not be in jet lag hell for the entire day after I land. I'll be in premium economy in an aisle seat. I usually take melatonin before bed and sleep on my side. Does anyone have suggestions for an OTC sleeping pill or pillow that actually works, or other advice for sleeping on a plane?

I don’t know where to start … having a pet sitter for 3 weeks isn’t an option and driving to and from isn’t either due to my work schedule.

I have an offer and want to negotiate

1. London base salary but I have to absorb all the expenses (train + stay)
I am thinking to negotiate to

2. home base salary and have my expenses paid for

I know that's depends on the amount I have to travel (and potentially stay) but at the moment this is unknown. Past 8 months was just twice a month + 2 nights stay.

The only thing I know is it won't be every week, the return trian ticket is about £80-100, depends I could plan ahead.

30th birthday coming up in December and would love to do it big, I haven’t celebrated a lot of birthdays in the past. Would love to skydive over the palm in Dubai, with that in mind, anyone have recs on where to stay and things to do in Dubai for 4-6 days? TIA

I’m relocating to London and would love to hear recommendations on neighborhoods. I am looking for an “urban village” feel (small coffee shops, not very touristy, can walk a dog and stroller) with a budget of 3K for a 1-2 bdr. My commute would be into Soho. I am currently looking at Notting Hill, Chelsea, and St John Woods, but I won’t be able to visit before my move. Any neighborhood recs?

Additional Posts in Consulting

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I have a whole bunch of certifications in my industry…but just no formal degree. (cont'd)
