I was laid off at my first job due to loss of business but I have been wanting to break into PR for a while. I have been applying and I have had a few interviews but haven’t heard back yet. Do (cont)
Anyone think it's odd how few goodbye emails we have gotten this round? Supposedly 15% of advisory is getting the boot... Expected more based on February FS layoffs
After being laid off last year I was talking with some friends about my experience and a few of them said that I definitely experienced sexual harassment. I’m not sure
1. if it really was sexual harassment given I’m a fairly ‘open’ person myself as a gay man
2. If it was, how do I go about reporting this if without it sounding retaliatory (I have a new, better job and would never go back) against the agency?
Just laid off. I have so many feelings right now and feel so lost. To those who have gone/are going through this, where did you begin to pick up the pieces? (Cont)
Serious question: should I do anything in response to a SM trying his damnedest to get me fired without cause?
Stay humble Strategy brothers and sisters. I’m covering a tech manager that has gone on leave and if I’m not fired by the end of the week it will be a miracle. BS isn’t helping. I need to know things😱
About to get rolled off a project, manager thinks I’m underperforming. Has anyone gotten rolled off before and bounced back or do you usually get fired shortly after? This is the first time
Yesterday, I was laid off for the second time since the pandemic began. I wrote some thoughts and would love feedback, advice, or leads.
Aside from a strong resume, how important is a referral for KPMG? I’m eyeing a Power BI position within Deal Advisory & Strategy Analytics; however, I’m coming from the retail industry. I was furloughed and laid off this year. =( In the interim, I’ve done some freelance work and want to find a permanent home. Currently, I have the Tableau Certified Assoc. certification and MSCA: BI Reporting. Any tips or advice for applying from outside the consulting industry? Thanks.

I've noticed a few comments on various posts about not leaving public before the end of the year because of layoffs/another recession? Can anyone provide links to articles that support this?
Anyone hearing rumors about stealth layoffs?
With all the layoffs right now, how do you tackle the topic in interviews? Do you mention it first since they’ll see on your resume you’re not presently working there? How about if you say you “quit”?
If you're analytics inclined (reporting, SQL, modeling) , about C and above and you were laid off, let me know . I can refer you to a job I was contacted for
Yes or no question - Do you know or know of anyone who got fired or counseled out of the firm for claiming bankruptcy?
Just got laid off. Slightly worried because wife just said she is pregnant 2 months ago. Skills are in process improvement and finance if anyone has roles. 2 YOE
I’m 28 and I was recently laid off. I currently have two offers. One from a smaller accounting firm with work life balance and another from a top 10 accounting firm with a higher salary. Which con’t..
How often do people get laid off at one of the Big 4 after one year? Just curious to hear different opinions because I just saw someone on linkedin who is a Tax Consultant at Deloitte work there for a year, and are now back to their old job. Keep in mind, this person is extremely intelligent and knows what they are doing. Just shocked and a bit intimidated to start in PA at one of the Big 4. EY PwC KPMG Deloitte

Just got to Europe and need a professional space. I know we're separate legal entities, but would another country's Big 4 office typically let me use some of their space?
Anyone considered staying on in manager rank and not trying for the promotion? Senior manager life just seems so not worth it
Supposed to go to Florida this weekend but now second guessing it, it’s giving me more anxiety than it’s worth. Has anyone traveled recently to ft lauderdale?
Thanks for the 50th text about a free appetizer during COVID Chili’s 🌶
You’re like the first date that never gives up...
Anyone ever use Regus, LiquidSpace or Davinci for renting out rooms and office space? Have you only used it once or do you use it a lot?
I feel like we need a thread that covers all the skills, expectations, salaries, etc. for moving up the ladder (such as for Copywriter to Sr. Copywriter). And then we could just bookmark it for ref.
FYI this is great if you board flights makeup-free and need something to moisturize your skin during a flight. Doesn’t look weird either
Should I move to HYD for the sake of moving and getting the relocation costs + bonus (90 days clause of Sirva applies)? The bonus and total budget is a good 6 digit INR multiple.
Sirva consultant asked for manager approval for revoking the 90 days deadline to utilise since it's optional to WFO for my project now and have gotten the manager approval on mail.
Right now I'm staying with parents and saving well on rent.
Got an offer as an experienced consultant at another Big 4 in Canada for $57K CAD. Am I being low-balled?
I qualify for the interview waiver program for H-1B extension stamping. While trying to book appointment for dropbox, the website is asking me to schedule an OFC appointment (which does not have any available slots btw).
Is this expected? I thought there would be no OFC/fingerprinting and just drop-off the passport and required docs for stamping?
Any opportunities for graphics designing Or ui ux designing for a 1 year experienced. Please let me know
