Microsoft is hiring an account executive and I’m really interested in the role. I have B2B sales experience in a different industry, but my skills include lead generation, prospecting, account management, negotiating, etc (all within the C Suite and other decision makers).
Would appreciate knowing if this is something I have a shot at with no tech sales experience and what I could expect for promotional opportunities and compensation.
Thanks for the help!

It depends on the place you’re wanting to go to. There needs to be a need. I would go ask your counselor as they’re the one who has to initiate the request. I’d go checkout the mobility4u page if you haven’t already.
They are more likely to go for the 12 months +. Depending on where you want to go it’s very expensive for both PwC US and the other firm. 6 month secondments are a hard sell outside AC or a really desperate member firm.
Right now, I’d say it’s pretty difficult. Secondments are very expensive for the firm, so unless you’re a top performer plus there’s a business need, It will be hard to get. Check out the mobility page
