For those at MBB in Canada, how difficult is it to transfer to a US office? Does it happen frequently or rarely? What sorts of factors go into the decision?

I'm currently at an M7 MBA program in the US and planning to move back to Toronto for a couple of years after because my partner is in grad school at UofT. But our long term plan is to move back to the States, and I'm wondering if that's a feasible strategy.

Does anyone have any recommendations of career coaches or where to begin to research legit ones? I’m a part-time MBA student at a top 25 program and have 13 years of work experience, mostly in government contracting, with a few deviations from the industry. I would like to use the MBA to make a career pivot, but I’m having a hard time choosing a path to target. I’d like to explore working 1-on-1 with a career/executive coach to help with this process.

Would love some insight on how you went from an HR assistant/coordinator to an HR Generalist. I’ve been in the HR world for 8 years, and only in the last 2-3 have I really done real HR work. Hi ME 🐠s! Would like to know a bit regarding Business Analyst roles in MBB, T2 / B4 firms in UAE. I come from a target school in India (say MBB / T2 hires from my college every year) with ~1 YOE in consulting - based in Dubai. Would the stated firms consider me for a BA role (lateral hire as an experienced BA)?

Moving from a boutique (<30 employees, MBB competitor) to the strategy practice of a Big 4. Have only worked for boutiques in the past, so I’m expecting there to be some major differences in terms of working style.

What are the major differences and ‘watch outs’ you would point out to me? Could be anything from culture, to red tape, to compliance etc.

He’s worked his way up and has the skills and authority to work 6:30am-10am and gets to work remotely. We discussed that results/outputs is better than billable time like in law and public accounting. Got offered 115K with 25-30% bonus for a fund accountant role with 3 years of public experience. Is that normal? Seems like really high. I live in NY to clarify. Combination of Big 4 and midsize experience. What’s the normal salary range for ppl in that range?

I would just like to take this time to tell everyone that no matter what your role is, or who you work for.. that we work to live, we don't live to work.

I understand that statement has some degree of privilege.

Hello! I need some (creative) suggestions on how to do a video interview. I live in a very small 1br apartment with my husband occupying the bedroom for work during the day and a 2 yr old occupying the living area.
