Would MBB firms ever pay for your MBA tuition if you got your MBA prior to joining? Like if you agreed to stay on for X number of years and they pay down your loans. Does that happen?

I’d like some independent views please, on a financial decision my wife and I are about to make. We’re looking to buy our first/dream home and the property is valued at $1.25m. We have savings of $250k and our HHI is c$350k, with no debt. We will probably exhaust our savings on the deposit and closing costs. A $1m with mortgage at 6% with property taxes is c$8k/month. I was a Manager at a Big4 doing PM fed work earlier this year. I decided to join a small firm to pursue cloud sales. However, the position is extremely technical in nature and I'm required to speak tech ( kubernetes, openshift, CICD) to potential clients.
