Is it possible to break into the consulting industry with a B2 level in French?

I graduated from a French university one year ago and have been aspiring to work in consulting for a while. However, I am uncertain about the feasibility of achieving this goal with my current level of proficiency in French.

For whatever it's worth, I speak three other languages, two in C2 level and one in A2 level.

Working in Risk Advisory-Internal Audit at EY. Looking to move into valuations. Have knowledge of valuations through FRM and CFA level 2 but no direct valuations experience. Anyone willing to help?

Made a career pivot to another agency. During the interview we talked about how it may start as initially a "step backwards" (pay/benefits) but has potential for more long term growth. First day was yesterday. Had no communication about when or where to show up, sat in an empty office for about half an hour before a couple people finally showed. No phone call or email. Sent an email to the founder, no response. I could easily get my old job back if wanted.

What would you do in this situation?

.they asked whether they can schedule interview on Wednesday....i said Yes.

But somehow I get schedule cancellation e-mail on or before Tuesday & the process continues from last 1.5 months
