Hello! I am interviewing for a Data Analytics Consultant role at Accenture under Applied Intelligence. Anyone have any insights into the role aside from what I have heard during interviews? How is the WLB? Culture? What’s up with travel, is it coming back ?

FL tax questions: 1.) last year I had 4 longer w2 gigs. Should I get tax preparer or do myself? Seems easy enough but im new to this so 🤷🏻‍♀️. 2.) do you write-off travel/lodging for out of city gigs?

Travelling to NYC in November for the first time and there's a reasonably priced airbnb in Central Harlem. Is that a safe area for 4 females to roam around late at night? I also read on Reddit that short term rentals in NYC are illegal...? Is that true? Should I avoid Airbnbs?

How does underwriting compare to PIP litigation in terms of flex time (ability to stop/start work throughout day, work at 2 am if needed, etc)

For example.. in PIP Litigation I can review my suits at 2 am if needed (as a result of having a rough day or other emergency) and still be in compliance

Working on some law firm applications tonight and it sucks that I know that I am so capable and have a strong work ethic but firms can’t see beyond grades or the fact that I didn’t go to a t14 law school or prestigious undergrad. I’ve worked twice as hard and feel like I’ve barely even gotten half as much. It’s discouraging sometimes especially because I worked so hard with pretty much no guidance (first gen, poc, low-income) to get into college and do well and then get into a t30 law school

I have been talking to a recruiter for a little over a month about a position. I let her know out the gate that I really wasn’t looking to change jobs, but she just kept wanting to continuing the conversation. I didn’t have 2 interviews with the hiring coming and they know that I am not really looking to make a switch. They are now working on an offer letter and I know they’re going to offer me more money. I’m having my annual review this week. Any advice on how to handle a) job offer b) review?
