Gave two interviews recently in KPMG for partner administrative role and got a feedback that they are not moving ahead. I have more than 7 years of experience handling a big team and feel I am ready to take up more responsibilities and can move to a bigger firm for more exposure. Not sure how else I can explain my roles effectively, even after justifying my skills and qualification, what else i can do for just an admin job

Advice on pivoting into Sales from Accounting? I know I have the skills and it’s a better fit, personality-wise. I am not a super technical accountant, but my background is still a super strong skill set I bring to the table with me (the ability to process and translate the technical to layman’s terms, and the anticipation of client needs and wants). Are there Sales recruiters similar to those for Public Accounting? Do I go for Inside/Outside 1st? What are your recommendations and wisdom?

I do sales for a major engineering firm. Focused on new business and exploring new markets. Last year I was in the top 50% for order intake, and first in number of projects won along with number of new customers. I think this is extraordinary given the effort it takes to win new business.

For next year my goal increased by 2.5X, and less of what I bring in counts towards that target. I really enjoy my job but I will essentially be getting a large pay cut. Lost in what to do besides quit??

Can anyone let me know how easy it is to apply to a consulting firm in Dubai directly coming from London? I am currently working at a T2 strategy firm in London and my partner and I want to relocate in ~1.5 years. My firm does not have an office in Dubai whilst my partners firm does. I like my role (sourcing, modelling and strategy integration), however I don't see myself working in this industry long term. Without a generalist IB background, are my chances of transitioning over to a different Industry low? If so, is there anything I can learn or do (excluding IB)?
