I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

Yeah I’m <2 YOE at IBM and have learned just about nothing so I feel you entirely. Luckily the brand name is supposedly still good enough (apparently?)
Crap I accidentally deleted that post but yea, the only upside LOL
Yes. Have 5 years of experience and still feel the same.
In the same boat. I'm a BA performing at C level (according to feedback from manager) but when I read job postings I feel way under qualified. 😢
Hey D I think that a lot of the skills we would gain from consulting are ones that are fairly difficult to put explicitly on a job posting but make a big difference on the job. Eg ability to grind, learn quickly, have excellent communication and coordination skills. I’m sure you can find parallels to what skills you’ve built and what a job posting is looking for but you might have to be a bit more creative with it.
Feel this way too but the good news is that most companies will hire people who do not meet the listed qualifications. They’re guidelines but companies choose to ignore them if you’re a qualified candidate in other respects.
Agreed, YOE reqs are soft
Same exact situation for me too
I never realized people didn’t like their ibm experiences this much until I joined FB
They've screwed up the new hire experience a lot from delayed start dates to unfair salary adjustments precovid19. Maybe it's because I am also on a call center project (I know other firms do it too) that it's contributing to my negativity, but I have nothing but horrible things to say about this company.
