Getting the blame for other people not picking up their slack and there’s no way for you to do the work for them (IE only they have the knowledge), what can you do to avoid being accountable for something you can do nothing about?

Is it just me or have you also noticed that during the endless back to back zoom/teams meetings, people drift away and not take down action points?

As things start to open up fully, some of my institutional clients are sending notices that we are expected to do X activity over zoom from here on out (things we used to do in person). Clearly it’s a cost cutting measure. Anyone else feel like filing for telephonic appearance so the insurance company can save a buck isn’t going to sit well with judges who prefer in person attendance? I hope they deny all of them so my billables don’t suffer. Less travel = more desk bs I have to do to hit quota

Regular Ed teachers may have students (mild Learning Disabled kiddos) in their room while teaching. Our firm told everyone no bonuses this year due to the pandemic. However, people like myself with high utilization received a “bonus” in terms of a gift card. My director notified me of this, but the other day my boss was mentioning how no bonuses this year really sucks.
