Hello! It seems this bowl is not very active but I'd like it to be. So here's my story: Born & raised in PR, moved to CA for undergrad & have been here since then. I graduated from law school in 2019, followed by a 2 yr bk clerkship. I did the evening program. I really enjoyed law school, in spite of the microaggressions, the late nights, & crazy competition. Love all things diversity in the law. Anyway, currently looking for a position in NYC/DC area. 🤗

Pulp Fiction is his most iconic role. Deep Blue Sea and Snakes on a Plane are in the top for quotable roles, but those movies aren’t iconic role-worthy.
And Jurassic Park!

This is an end the relationship kind of offense. Nick fury has to be one of his least iconic roles
lol thank you! Nothing against Nick fury, but gotta give respect to all of his work. Even his relatively minor role in Jurassic park is more quotable than Nick fury

Sent him onto badass stardom I’d say it’s defining enough
After much soul searching, I’ve found the answer we’ve all been looking for. His most iconic role was Samuel L Jackson as played by Dave Chappelle

Jinx!
Aren’t you forgetting Mace Windu, Jedimaster??? I’m gonna go ahead and say it’s his only role where he doesn’t say MFer
People that aren't movie nerds don't think about Pulp Fiction ever. So I do think the world knows him as Nick Fury now.
I've seen pulp fiction. I promise Gen Z and a lot millenials don't have the same attachment. Not to mention people that aren't American.
I am horrible at all things pop culture - and when I think of him I think of snakes on a plane. (I am so hopeless I have no idea if that is already listed above 🙄).
I’ve had it with these MuthaF’n snakes on this MuthaF’n plane!

Both are incorrect. Neville Flynn is by far his most iconic role.
Admittedly, I’ve not watched that movie, always considered it more of a meme than anything else. Bb is u srs?
Come on. Sam Jackson has literally been in every movie with a black guy for 30 years. Can’t pick just one.
You know, I’m not sure. Marvel modeled Ultimate Nick Fury off of Sam Jackson and then cast him to essentially play himself personality wise. It is a pretty big testament to the badass reputation Sam has built up throughout his career. And he’s shown up in 11 movies with a TV series coming up and possibly more beyond that.
I’d still think of Pulp Fiction first personally but anyone who didn’t watch that movie when it came out won’t have same connection to it. And it’s definitely Fury second IMO.
You’re right, pulp fiction definitely hits different for folks who see it for the first time now.
The thing about nick fury is that that role gets so many at bats, so I feel people compare all of Nick fury to a single non-marvel role, which isn’t fair imo.
I’d even say, movie for movie, his role in Django Unchained is more iconic than any single Nick Fury appearance.
To say PG-13 Sam Jackson is him at his best just feels wrong to me.
Man's been in a half dozen Spike Lee films and four Tarantino films. He was a kickass Nick Fury but it's not even remotely close.

I agree with your gf. Tell her I said she’s right
Will do. “Hey, pwc1 says you’re right”

Snakes on a Plane.. Eve’s Bayou. That man has too many classic movies imo.

Is she 16? You might need to end the relationship over this...

Its still a really young thing to say considering how many movies and years this man has been acting to only consider his newer movies as the most iconic or whatever she said.
