Going into my first round of interviews with BCG a couple of weeks from now. Because of covid, the interviews (a fit and a case) will be over a video call. Any tip on how to handle the case interview on video rather in person?

Any minority recruiters/HR who can truthfully confirm if checking off an ethnicity when submitting a job application matters or is it better off to mark "Prefer not to say" for a better chance of getting follow-ups?

My entire worldview/outlook on my career and what I want has changed since covid happened. Can someone explain what being “of counsel” is like at larger law firms - are they independent contractors? Make their own hours? How do you get a gig like that? I don’t think I want to be a partner anymore.

What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. What are expected utilisation rates for entry level consultants? Been here 9 months and only done billable work for about 3 months of that. Bored out of my mind for the majority of my time here.

Can someone please help me calculate my Utilization? The Client Service Hours on ToD seems to be confusing. When does the utilisation for the year start? April or June?
