Going through TSA Pre in O’Hare, family of 4, all pass the metal detector unscathed except for the Adult Son. Goes through 2 times they tell him he has to go through the millimeter wave scanner. Mom comes up to the TSA Agent “He is not, I repeat not going through that thing” TSA Agent try’s to assuage her fears. “I promise he’s not hiding anything dangerous, you can pat him down if you need to” TSA relents to a pat down… I made it through.. would have loved to know how that ended.

I manage 2 physician practices and one is extremely toxic. To the point the dr sides with staff even when I am trying to make corrective actions when patient care is in jeopardy. My leadership is aware and knows I am keeping my distance from them. Just doing the necessary work to keep them producing. How do you handle this? We recently got the ok to schedule our orientation and delivery date for our IVF medications and all I have to say is ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELF! My husband has dermatomyositis, and his doctor put off treatment so that we could do some collection and go through IVF. I felt like my dr was blowing off our timeline, but I persisted. I worked with CVS Caremark directly and got approval in 2 days (not the expected 3 weeks). Moral of the story: ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELF!

I’ve been having insomnia lately (around 1 month). Tried the usual, lighter dinners, no caffeine etc. with no improvement…. Have been taking Focalin for +\- 8 months. I‘m mindful of timing as well to not interfere with sleep my schedule. Now I wonder if switching to Vyvanse or something else might help.

Can I just vent on how annoyed I am with the increase in “priority boarding” of people that are able bodied? I am happy to let them on first. But I think they should get off last.
