I like to think of RSM as a cell phone provider from 2 years ago. The new employees and new staff get all of the best benefits and the best offers. If you’ve been loyal and been with them, they take advantage of that with raises that are in their range of market but nothing like you’d get if you went somewhere else. The cell phone providers woke up and changed their model, and hopefully RSM will too. That being said the current leadership team won’t change. However a new leadership team is coming which is hopefully more diverse and more willing to change.

Hey PWC I’m in the same boat. Offer is great for a manager but not sure if I should go with RSM
M1 in HCOL for RSM. It's good. I'm not leaving. I get more responsibility and advancement here than probably anywhere else. Take time off when I need to outside of busy season. Give it a shot. Of course comp is dependent upon what you bring to the firm not everyone is equal. But starting comps right now for new hires have to be the highest they've ever been by far relative to market from RSM
