Hi :) How well do Google &StrategyOps Leaders take care of people? Interested in the real life applications one dreads having to face in a new job given lack of relationships upfront, i.e., my child has covid/in hospital, or kids school is remote for 4 wks so now I need to “juggle” life + work. IMO…LOAs, FMLA, etc don’t apply when your new. Wanting to feel safe making a move. How have you seen these situations handled for coworkers?Google

FML. I’ve been dating someone for 8 months and have been having doubts about the longevity of the relationship. This week he tells me he is thinking about leaving our city and working remotely. Even though I was already thinking about ending it, this hurts. I know I’m being childish - being rejected by someone who I was planning to reject! My YOE is 5.5 and I got offer from capgimini of 14 lpa and the joining date is 19 sept..they are ready to give me 17 lpa if i join early on 5 sept...should i early join or wait for other interviews as currently having only one offer letter.

Is offer amount justified as per my exp ? And what about the growth factor and work life balance in capgimini..

Anyone looking at traveling to Costa Rica? They have a list of states from which they will admit tourists while also requiring a negative covid test, health history, etc. As someone not on the approved list, I am bitter and curious why the population is grouped at a state level when there are massively different rates of infection within each state (not to mention personal responsibility) and you are already required to present a negative test. Any idea how often those lists get updated?

Here are my observations about the skills and experiences that PMs have and how people are joining that group.

They are all technical. All of them could easily be very technical cloud consultants or cloud engineers.
Tl/Dr. If you couldn't get hired as a cloud engineer or cloud consultant - you probably can't become a PM
