Of anyone needs reference at Amazon. Let me know
Hello All, I have one question. I was a fresher and joined one organization as external employee with third party payroll. I worked as external payroll for 1 year then I became permanent employee of organization was working. When i was a fresher my salary was below tax slab so my external exployer did not generate any form 16 for me. When tried to switch my new organization wants me to submit form 16 as BGC process. Will my offer get reverted?Cognizant Tata Consultancy HCL Technologies Accenture

Email hiring manager at B and advise him of the situation. You prefer B but need to make a decision by X date
Slight adjustment to OW1's statement then. Don't include the date and let them know that you want to be transparent with them and that you are currently in the process with another company and you're wanting to know more about their timelines (e.g. how many more rounds, when are they planning to have someone start, etc).
It let's them know they're not the only ones looking at you and they need to get their act together. They will appreciate the heads up and transparency and hopefully it's reflected in their offer.
Then don’t do it. I thought you viewed A’s offer as viable but less preferred. You don’t need to be manipulative
Agree with D2’s approach
I doubt if any of these are really great ideas. OP when it comes to hiring, “never be the first to push the envelope” it’s a simple rule of thumb!! You say your say ur pay first, u r in d losing seat, u push for some values first, you resume n meet some perception issues down d line (especially C-suite up). My thoughts: if you must shake or try to push just do a simple follow up email or better still call? What you say may b forgotten. What you write wouldn’t
...and what you write with one letter words may make you sound like a 12 yr old.
Last week someone said they already had an offer from another company and wanted to expedite our hiring process. We did not pursue with him as he was not a superstar. In the normal scenario he would have given abother interview and an offer.
wants me to meet one of his colleagues and then wants to fly me out to meet their CTO. So it looks very promising 🙏🏼. I haven’t heard from him since we talked last, and prefer company B over A. What should I do?
What’s the problem? Does company A ask you to accept today?
Problem is Company A’s offer is garbage and I wouldn’t accept it regardless. I just want Company B to move faster and I’m thinking this offer can expedite the process. But don’t want things to get sticky.
Do what OW1 said
If I did what OW1 said, would I be starting a fire for no reason? Really don’t want to lose out on this, I’m definitely not taking Company A’s offer
^ alright, in that case I’ll keep my mouth shut lol
A3, mind explaining why you pulled the plug after hearing that?
In similar boat, but I used one verbal offer to expedite my interview process for a more preferred position/firm
SC1, How’d you let the company know? Just shoot them an email with a date deadline type of thing?
I was scouted through an independent recruiter so I told the recruiter that I had a good verbal offer already but this new position aligns even better to my career aspirations. I asked her to help move things along
