I have 2 other offers from WITCH companies. EY EY India
JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.
Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.

Treat recruitment like dating. It's a two way street where you're both determining whether you're a good fit for each other.
And red flags are red flags.
Not making excuses but we are just a few months in and had to stand up new everything...HR, IT , the whole shabang. We are hiring like crazy and the recruiters are not handling it well- and they are aware. We still actually do great work and have great clients but some of our processes will have some growing pains for a few months.
Its within Health and Benefits and speaking with a contracted phone screener I did not have the ability to decline - a recruiter was supposed to reach out to explain my options. But I’ve sorted it out and declined - and they have presented additional availability.
Honestly I’m not sure, so I don’t want to speculate! I can only tell you I came in as a SA at 105, came from industry, masters (non mba) with about 8 years experience (non consulting). I do know just from word of mouth that people accepting jobs at Guidehouse are receiving significant pay increases from their previous job.
@VP1 that was most eloquently stated !! Noted.
Good insight @P2, I’m generally interested in making a jump but if I can’t prepare or understand the role it makes it hard. I’ll stay tuned and keep tht in mind.
They did the exact same thing to me - next day interview. I went, they put me through the wash, rinse and spin cycle, did well, had a follow up coffee chat where they were super enthusiastic... then they ghosted. This was back in April, heard nothing since despite several follow ups.
A1- internal folks are mostly based in Tysons and client-facing folks are in DC. Many folks end up working remotely .
A1- they’ll give remote after you put some time in, now there are several remote 100% on the team. Will say, it’s super busy at all times. Get to interact with people all throughout the org. 90% of the team sits in Tyson’s. You get one WFH out of the week
What is the role?
Totally agree! I think it would have been appropriate for you to decline on such short notice- take the time to ask the questions you need to move forward. Why type of role are you applying for ?
Got it. Well I happen to work in H&B so let me know if I can answer any questions 😎
P2 - do you know the salary range for a SA? Thanks:)
Lol thanks! And to piggy back - range for EA and SA?
Do you know anything about their internal operation roles? Specifically finance? They look to all be in VA - are they considering any remote resources or only VA?
@M1 oh no! I had that happen to me at another Big 4 - that shall not be named lol. And it pissed me off so bad - a waste of time and money for everyone at least have the decency to follow up. Fingers crossed it doesn’t happen here.
P3 - thanks maybe I’ll apply... see if they have any remote flexibility it’s always worth a shot.
A1- what role within finance are you looking at? Currently in finance and know how understaffed they are but coming from AFS, it is def a more meaningful role, within finance at least
P4 - Finance Manager 1 - Job ID FINAN01446
P4 - I’m in Chicago and not looking to re-locate. So unfortunately it wouldn’t work for me. Thanks for the info though.
