Happened to me twice that a recruiter messages me on LI, I respond a few hours later with availability(is that too long) and then there's no reply. 🤔 Any idea why??

Have anyone done contracting negotiations before? I've interviewed for co A & B and co A extended an offer today. The offer does not meet my current salary. Co B's interview structure is 3 rounds and I've finished my 2nd round today. NYC Recruiters - which recruitment agencies are considered the best, which do you bad mouth?

I countered with a recruiter and they responded to my concerns and questions with “don’t worry about PTO days, I don’t even take them”, “you’re focused on the wrong things” (when speaking about health insurance costs), “I can’t see them going for that (my counter), let me see your experience again, 10 years hm”, “it’s really not an apples to apples comparison, this is a really good offer, don’t focus on that other stuff”. Don’t do this! I was leaning towards taking the job and now I may pass.
