I've been at this job for almost 5 years now, and ever since the day I started, there have been problems with my coworkers. It's not just one person—it's everyone in my department, and they all seem to be working against each other instead of together. Should I leave?

I have a direct report who is smart, passionate about her job and can be really innovative. However she carries this enormous weight of responsibility, for needing to do everything, do it right, make sure it's perfect, not trusting colleagues to help. It creates dread and panic and overwhelming workload and a terrible attitude for her and I am speaking with her this week to start to shift her mindset. Any tips in navigating how to let go of this heavy idea of "responsibility"?

Hey so just to check on my part. I worked at a place where we went to a firm happy hour and women attorneys were there. A picture was passed around of a really hot woman on Instagram who they are oggled , later after the woman left some guy talked about all the quote whores he slept with. The women weren't sex workers presumably. I'm a male this behavior seems inappropriate to me and made me uncomfortable. Am I expected to exhibit this level of 1950s machismo in my day-to-day life?

I’m a Hispanic woman on my team ( 8 years industry experience with managerial experience ) and have been in my role for 1.5 years . A white male on my team (4 years industry experience no managerial experience) with under a year at the same level got promoted over me. I have helped him with everything and constantly providing him with feedback and direction on what to do . Do I bring it up to senior leadership? How do you deal with unresponsive summers? I’m a junior and overseeing my first project with summers (5 in total). Two are unresponsive and do not acknowledge my emails. Do I need to make it clear that I expect acknowledgement when I assign work? The other three don’t have a problem with this, so I’m not sure what it is.

Simple question. Why do Doctors earn so much in a country where access to health services is so difficult ? I don’t mind if they are becoming billionaires. I would just rather have more Doctors paid less. Access is a real issue. If the argument is around better opportunities in the US, this applies to many people, including us.
