I'm looking to find a job like the Forward Deployed Engineer role Palantir Technologies in the UK.
I have become hooked on finding a job that involves solving the kinds of problems they presented during their interviews. Although I got to the final round my performance anxiety got the better of me (I think I wanted the job a bit too much...). I will reapply after working in a similar company.
Is it "deep tech" / "data science" or "smart enterprise" that they're doing? Any advice welcome.

Bring back Planning in force. The industry as a whole lost its independent advocate, representing myriad perspectives that not only informed the work but also restrained bias by enlarging a clients’, agency’s, and creative teams’ frame of reference beyond their own. When Planning is done well, just like Creative and Media, it is astonishing how it can bring people together through advertising ideas and marketing imagination.
By providing the primary economic engine for the social media cult factories, advertising is complicit.
But we don’t have a king of advertising. Reform has to start from below. Start by raising the issue internally. We know that at scale, we can shift attitudes—the needle is moving on D&I, slowly but surely. Tech will start reforming far faster if they have pressure from advertisers.
Maybe you Americans need to stop taking everything online so literally.

It's a larger task than just a few people. This is the sort of thing governments are actually meant to handle, instead of whatever the fuck they do these days.
Some sort of regulation I would think.
I don’t believe there’s any solution that you can opt for within the system... the answer probably lies in reforming the system itself.
