Has anyone flown anywhere recently? I took a couple flights this past week and flew United, Delta and American and was disgusted with how poorly American is handling COVID. Delta and United both had procedures that made me feel as safe as I could on a flight given the circumstances but AA made zero effort to implement any kind of safety procedures. The flight was packed, boarding was a mess with zero social distancing measures and it didn’t seem like proper sanitization was done between flights.

Left consulting and started in FinTech this week. My senior manager was shocked we had to bill time hourly/daily and now I will never have to fill out a timesheet again except for PTO.

M/SM and above, why do you label a meeting as “touch point” or ask if you can have a “quick chat” when it’s something serious? Millennials like us always assume we’re about to get fired - I actually have been laid off in a meeting with that title. But at my new job, my boss asked for a “quick chat” to literally ask me to change the title of a meeting and then chat about christmas. Now that I’m in management, I want to understand it better.

What can I do outside the office to boost my resume and be a substantially more attractive candidate for top consulting firms in ~12 months time. Working in disputes and valuation role but want to go into management consulting next year (post MBA role). I feel like my job isn’t enough because skills aren’t considered as transferable outside this field.
