I joined KGS in feb 2022, we recently got a mail regarding timeline of appraisal and bonus payout from the partner. My reporting manager hasn't yet reached out to me regarding goal setting, not sure if that happens here. Can you pls help me to know what all things we need to do from our end for the appraisal cycle and bonus payout? Since I'm new to this company KPMG KPMG India

A decent amount since recruiters usually make the bulk of their money from commissions aside from a base salary. It’ll come down to if you can place people with jobs or not. Do a good job and you get paid much more or suck at it and not get much
That would be me! To be honest, it REALLY depends on the agency you go to. Some firms have a VERY heavy commission focus so your base pay can be super small (we are talking like $40k or less) but the commissions can be VERY nice.
I was very blessed to find a firm that actually gives you the option to select your plan of a higher base and smaller commission OR vice versa. It gives someone the option that is new and building their network some "padding" for the first year or two before selecting a more aggressive plan.
Trust me....you'll have a gazillion options to select from so be selective in your choices. Scout out a few firms and compare them to see what YOU are most comfortable with.
