Applied for a role with Salesforce and had both a talent advisor and corporate recruiter reach out to schedule time to talk about the role. Is this normal for the recruiting process for two different people to reach out to schedule time? Is one more senior than the other/different approach?
My partner has, for the last 3 years, been the co-head of a business unit within an investment bank. Six months ago, the role of sole head of the business unit was advertised, interviews took place and after a lengthy process, the decision has been made to appointed my partner as the head, but no change the job grade! The reasons given are so that my partner may further upskill stakeholder management skills. Review in grading and salary in 6 months more. Is this reasonable?

Is investment accounting a good career path? I do enjoy finance as well. Pay is very good so I’m wondering if I should take the opportunity?

What are recommended places to post jobs if you're trying to get a diverse group of people to apply? It's important to me to have a balanced team, but sometimes fear LinkedIn or traditional routes might overlook women or minority applicants. I'm likely going to be hiring in 2022 on the product management, product marketing, product design, and technical/data product management front. Thank you for your guidance.
I’ve been unemployed for a while, it’s been really difficult to find new leads. Know anyone hiring in tech strategy?
How many interviews are normal before you get an offer? I’m looking to make a switch and have been interviewing with 3 companies for more senior roles. Each has at least 5 rounds + 1 recruiter call. I don’t remember this being the case when I got my last job several years ago.

I'm 23 soon going on 24 and I haven't dated. Ever. I haven't received proposals as well (of dating or going out). I have been working work from home since my professional life started. My friends say that I should do something. Whereas, I am not very disappointed by this fact. I'm quite a happy single. I have so many hobbies and a personal urge of having "me time" that I am not bothered much. Do you guys think I may lack something which is not attracting people? Or should I let fate play game?

Desi women, are male family members misogynistic? How do you deal with brothers and fathers who don’t like you outwitting them?
Good Morning all,
Since I pivoted into TA (from the Wild West known as Finance) Tech Recruiting has always been the goal. But I’m having a hard time finding a way to get into that space (I do understand there’s a hiring crisis). Nevertheless, does anyone know of tech companies that are hiring? I may be low on the experience side so I’m willing to look at contract/ entry roles as well. Also, any advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
I am in the process of stopping to breastfeed (currently still 1x morning and 1x after daycare) but my son really wants to be fed more often and cries when I stop him/ offer bottle instead. Any tips? How long will this last? I am gone for one night next week and plan to stop completely within next 1/2 weeks. Should I rip off bandaid or stay on a slow roll-off?
Just received an offer at Optum for 135k. It’s a digital product role. This would be a 35K raise for me in CA.. Should I take it?

I’d like input!
I am currently a charge nurse and am in a “Pathway to Leadership Program” that will come with promotions into leadership/administration. I am concerned that going through the leadership ladder will lead to a lot of politics.
I am thinking of getting a masters of healthcare informatics, and would love input from people in both industries and any advice you have!
Would you continue into the nursing leadership ladder or go into health informatics (which also has leadership!)?
At this point, it’s become blatantly obvious that we likely won’t see Biden doing live Q&A pressers with the media. Even left-wing outlets are demanding answers from our administration about the disaster in Afghanistan and all we’re getting are sound bytes from junior staffers and a resounding silence from our leaders beyond scripted speeches and edited interviews.
For the 🐠 that have traveled to Egypt, can I get some recommendations on tour companies? I’m traveling with my partner (two females) and would like to have something arrange. 🙏

What is the HR culture at Facebook? Thinking I’d responding to a FB recruiter email to interview. I interviewed for a role a few months back, made it to on-site was rejected. Want to know what the pace, collaboration is like among peers.
I'm SHRM-SCP certified and I have been interested in the total rewards or compensation side of HR. Do you think that getting the CCP certification is a good investment? I've seen many Total Rewards open positions but I feel I don't have the necessary experience. Any advices?
Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks
Currently taking HR certification courses with Drexel and was planning to also do the pHR certification, but because I don’t have a degree in HR and I haven’t “formally” been working in HR, I don’t qualify, any suggestions on certifications that can help me develop my current office manager position into full HR?

Changing from Vacation and Sick Time to just plain PTO starting in Jan. Staff can save up to 40hrs of their accrued Sick Time banks to use in 2022 in addition to their new PTO.
We have a part-time employee with more than 40 sick hours who will try to use as much of their Sick Time as they can before Jan 1. If this person has an avg weekly schedule of 17.5 hrs, can we stop them using sick time if their sick + work time will take them over their 17.5 scheduled hours?

Can an employee use a Virginia Criminal Justice Agency Offender Information Form for the i9? USIC website says “The ID document listed first in List B does not have to be a driver's license - it can be any government-issued ID card, even a parolee's ID card if the date of birth, gender, height, eye color, and address are on it.” But it’s a certified FORM not ID card. Thoughts?
I've been in PeopleOps (mostly focused on TA Ops) for over 9 years now. I've somehow gotten by without a degree in HR or a certification, but would like to get some more education to continue to advance my career. What are your thoughts on PHR vs SPHR vs SHRM for someone with my years of experience and current role as a manager?
Hi everyone! Just looking for some insight. I’m about 4 years into HR, have my bachelors. I’ve been toying around with the idea of getting my masters in something relating to compliance/labor law and that side of HR. Shrm certification is also on my list. If anyone has some advice on what to get a masters in specifically, I’d be open to suggestions! I’m trying to find something that would be worth my while and would give me a step up. Thanks!
I am currently a HR Generalist for a small aerospace company, located in CA. I have been in a generalist role for a little over 4 years now and before that, I did recruiting/safety for about 3 years. I am now looking into getting my HR Certification, but am stuck in between the PHR-CA or the SHRM-CP. Does anyone have any recommendations they can give me?

I’m a Senior TA Specialist for a global automotive company. Currently making $60k/year with benefits. I hold a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree with 10 plus years of HR experience and believe my market value is worth more around the $80k- $90k range than my current compensation. For negotiation purposes, would I be wrong in seeking an increase? How would I present that to senior management? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
Attention HR professionals at medical device/pharma companies: will those workers who regularly visit hospitals to service equipment, give clinical instructions on product, and sell, be eligible for vaccines any time soon? I’m getting conflicting info on where these workers fall in the vaccine hierarchy, and of course every state’s rollout is different.
Any insights on how to dive in into Tech Recruiting? I am trying to apply for that line of business but all the postings Ive seen so far requires minimum 2 years of experience. I recent started (8 months also Contract/limited time) with new company but i’m assigned in a Retail Environment. I really did not thought that aspect before accepting the offer. All my recruiting experience are in Insurance, banking or retail/csr.
I am taking the PHR for the first time next month. Looking for tips/strategy for studying!
I’m a boomerang employee and a friend of mine noticed that my company posted a similar job description to mine on indeed 10 days ago. My boss didn’t tell me they were hiring another person in our department (small department - 4 people). Should I be worried? Should I bring it up to my boss? I’m really stressing myself out over it. For reference I would consider myself a top performing employee / everyone was very excited when I boomeranged. Not sure if I’m overthinking (I do that a lot).

I wouldn’t say it will help much with entry level roles but can’t hurt. How are you leveraging your past skills and experience to demonstrate they are transferable to the roles you are applying for?
Make it impact focused! Just because it’s a short internship doesn’t make it invaluable. For example, “Maintained accurate compliant resource files, records, and documents for 400+ employees”. “ Enhance employee engagement by 67% by implementing staff development programs such as employee recognition, and career development.” I would still add the internship even though it was years ago
There Is not an immediate ROI.
