Am I doing a mistake? Going from PwC to Accenture for $45K more (113 Vs 158), and a role that’s better aligned with what I was doing before joining & what I want to be doing? I joined PwC for the experience and the exit opportunity it can provide me in the future, but it’s hard not to accept this role from Accenture! Decision need to be made by end of this week….

This one is a no brainer, do it.
Thank you
Take it. I have more than 4 years of experience and make less than you do now
What kind of role ? And position? Just out of curiosity and do it worth
I’d like to know as well, in NYC with 2 years and making less -_-
It’s not financial services so I was worried raises would be super low going forward, less than consulting
Don’t worry, you jumped for this increase, you can jump for an increase again
Some companies offer a jump up front then the salary increases stagnate (e.g. you may get the 115, but have a 3% annual raise YOY). At Deloitte (you’re a BTA), you won’t make that kind of money until you’re a second year C. By the time you’re a second year C, your base will be $125. So realistically, you won’t catch up until you’re a first year/second year SC. Long story short, take it (if money is the only determinant)
You did mention that this offer is in NYC are you currently also in a hcol city?
Do it. It will set the bar higher for all future negotiations.
