If you have cash that you want to invest. Please consider Treasury Series I Savings Bond (Electronic). Interest is 7.12% right now. While it's not guaranteed that the 7.12% will remain until next year, it's still a good deal.
My SO and I just invested 20k (10k max per person even married).

is there a general rule of thumb to follow when DCA’ing a large chunk (which can be relative to many ppl). curious since I would be coming across some shortly
Just buy $100k of TVIX tomorrow at open
Glad you confirmed that as a gamble😇
Rule of thumb (according to Vanguard research) is to not let DCA stretch longer than 1 year (they recommend Lump Sum though for the record)

In similar circumstances here and had 80k total to invest. I started DCAing since mid April and was targeting end of July. Just because I thought that’s when things will become relatively normal or start opening back up, with a higher likelihood of upward trends only with no major dips. Just personal opinion, offering here as a point of reference. Have read that putting all funds in the beginning sometimes yields better returns but wasn’t comfortable doing that, so picked a relatively short timeline to DCA. Glad I did start early to catch the ride up in the last month and will adjust timeline if I suspect a dip coming earlier or later.
