1. Deloitte - 12.5 LPA Fixed + 1.25L Variable along with 2L joining bonus and 2L retention bonus.

2. PWC - 13 LPA Fixed + 2L joining bonus and permanent WFH.

Yoe is 2.8 and tech stack is DotNet Dev.

Which one would be better to join, considering the CTC, benefits and WLB?

I have done masters in commerce and i have experience of 3.5 yrs working on support project related to Bloomberg fundamentals consultation with bare minimum package of 2.6 lpa as a ctc. Is doing some courses from after market such as power bi ,sql etc will help me to raise my package or should i switch by upscaling my skill or without it as environment is toxic and they will not let me grow.kindly share your insight to help me choose better career path.

I’ve been on the bench with J1 for about 3 months. I was worried that because I couldn’t find another project, I would get laid off so I found J2, which pays more, is very meeting heavy, but I really like. I’ve kept J1 because I’m still on the bench doing absolutely nothing and getting paid. Thinking about looking for a role on a project with J1 that’s not along my career path but will allow for me to do work with no calls so that I can manage both jobs. I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."

Have new analyst on the team with an MBA and project experience. After working with them for 2 months it’s apparent that there are 0 consulting skills (excel, outlook, PowerPoint) and they freeze up even on internal calls. They are young and coachable, and I offered to put time into that. However at a company event they made no effort to get to know the team and chose to stick to their familiar colleagues in their home office. I’d like to ask for a new resource but interested in feedback.
