Also, in my experience, as long as work gets done overall, I rarely have had to take PTO or sick time. Managers have been fairly flexible as long as I'm not taking advantage of the situation
From time to time, yes. In a perfect world, we'd all have the luxury of staying home whenever we're not feeling well, but in reality, this isn't always feasible - especially if you're working on a major project or have a tight deadline.
I usually do unless it's a stomach issue. I'm not about to go to work when it's coming out the front or the back. I get migraines on occasion and depending on severity, they will often keep me from work too.
Yep. If it's serious enough I'll stay home, but if it's just a head cold or a low grade fever I'll typically show up.
