A BCG recruiter ghosted me after she reached out to schedule an interview. How long should I wait before following up? What is the common courtesy to give to ppl at BCG. I don’t wanna come off as too aggressive but I really need to get this interview set as there are other pending confirmations Boston Consulting Group

Recruiter here-I like when people reach out. I receive so many applications, it's good to be pro-active.
It's important to mention how your skills match the role with examples.
It can't hurt, but don't be disappointed if you don't get a response. A lot of these recruiters are inundated.
Yup. Shoot your shot, but there’s likely 30+ people in the DM’s as well.
Depending on the size of company I’d try to find the hiring manager and email them instead. Recruiters get tons of emails for the many roles they’re working on. Getting in front of the decision-maker might help you stand out.
I did and it got me a first and second interview. Third interview is next week.
@director thanks!!
It got me my current gig!
Nothing to lose! I do it any way I can.
It can only show that you want the job. That’s a good thing. In fact if you don’t reach out I assume your chances of getting a message back are much lower.
Yes but also this is what everyone unemployed is doing as well. If you can do something to set yourself apart like a visual cover letter or a Loom video, do that. Because everyone is DM’ing recruiters on LinkedIn but if you can stand out you might break through. (Although I think only 90% of recruiters check LinkedIn messages).
